On 19 and 20 November, 42 Berlin and 42 Wolfsburg's most ambitious coders take on a real-world data challenge from Volkswagen's logistics team. On Friday 20 November, they present their solutions live, and you're invited to watch.
The challenge: Every day, thousands of suppliers and carriers send data to a global manufacturer in different formats, and much of it arrives as unstructured email. Our teams have 48 hours to turn that chaos into usable, trustworthy data. They can tackle one of three tracks: using AI to turn unstructured emails into structured data; smarter matching of delivery notes to transport orders; and a "data quality cockpit" that helps suppliers and carriers improve their own data.
