Be a founder for a day. This is a one-day hackathon for software founders, and for anyone who wants to find out if they are one. You start at 10:00 with an idea and finish at 16:30 with a product, real customer conversations, a live landing page and an investor pitch.
What you hand in: - A working product - What you learned from at least 5 potential customers - A live landing page with a sign-up - A 3-minute pitch
You will be judged on: - Customer understanding - Product maturity - Landing page - Investor readiness
Schedule for the day: - 09:00 - 09:30: Arrivals, check-in, breakfast - 09:30 - 10:00: Introduction and team forming - 10:00: Building starts - 12:30: Lunch - 16:30: Submission deadline - 16:30 - 17:30: Judges visit every team and pick the top 8 - 17:30 - 19:00: Top 8 pitches, prizes
Breakfast, lunch and drinks are on us. Every team gets credits for the tools to build their idea out.
Rules: - Teams of 1-4. Come alone or with a team. - Build something new. Use the day to test a new startup idea, not to continue an existing one.

About Sandbox: Sandbox is Stuttgart's accelerator for digital business models in media, design and software. It is run by the HdM Startup Center at Stuttgart Media University. Founding teams get coaching, coworking space and access to funding such as EXIST and Start-up BW Pre-Seed.
