We're excited to announce the MunichTech EXPO Hackathon, bringing together developers, AI builders, students, researchers, startups and innovators to build practical technology solutions around real-world challenges.

Hackathon period: 1–20 September 2026

Teams can work on challenges across areas including AI, software, digital infrastructure, automation, sustainability, industry technology and emerging technologies.

Participants will have the opportunity to build, demonstrate and compete with their solutions while connecting with companies, technology partners, investors and the wider Munich innovation ecosystem.

For Meetup Organizers & Communities: If you run a Meetup, developer community, university group, tech community or innovation network, we would love you to share the Hackathon with your members. You can promote the Hackathon directly through your community and encourage your members to participate.
